Seven Veils Collective is a group of creatives from South East London who work together in contemporary theatre practices to create work that re-imagines theatrical adaptation. Using devising methods such as dance, poetry, multi-media, documentation and our collective's personal experiences, we want to explore how and why we continue to tell certain stories, myths and fables.
Halfway through our devising process of Pallas/Athena as our first live theatre piece, we had to adapt ourselves to a virtual performance. Confined in our separate homes, the domestic and the personal started to intertwine with the mythology. We became fascinated with a myth about 'naming', and ideas of how we as individuals might construct our identities. We really hope you enjoy this interactive theatre experience.
